|
Fluorochemicals are applied to repel both wet and dry soil, and they offer very good resistance to both water and oil-based liquids. Acid dye resistors are applied to resist stains from the dyes in fruit drinks and some soft drinks. Both of these products are applied at the manufacturing level either by spray application or in an immersion process. The acid dye resistors are applied first followed by the application of fluorochemical. Virtually every quality carpet produced today has had these products applied. As many consumers have discovered, carpets treated with these products are truly easier to maintain. Spots are easier to clean, staining has been almost eliminated, and dust and dirt lift out much easier during vacuuming. And with frequent steam cleaning, they clean up to a like-new condition. Since both wear and cleaning removes the protection from carpet a reapplication is necessary every time the car- pet and furniture are cleaned. The product we use at A-1 Cleaning Connection, Inc. is the finest available, providing superior protection from soiling and staining. Because we understand the benefits of having protectors applied after cleaning, it is included in the price. When it comes to maintaining quality indoor air, protectors play their part. Besides that carpets and fabrics treated with protectors look cleaner and stay cleaner longer. |
